Lorraine Lodge
I have worked as a speech language pathologist at Timonium Elementary School since 2001. Prior to that, I worked as a SLP contractually for Baltimore City Public Schools. Timonium is a great place to work because the faculty and students are very supportive of our students in the CALS program. I also work with students in the general education setting who may be having difficulties in the areas of articulation, language, or fluency. The best thing about my job is helping children become better communicators!
Ruthanne Doetzer
I grew up in Baltimore and attended local schools and
universities, including UMBC, University of Maryland-College Park, and Johns
Hopkins. After internships in DC and Virginia, I started my career as a
speech-language pathologist at Kennedy Krieger Institute and later worked as an
SLP in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Over the years, I have worked in
hospitals, schools, group homes, and private practice, with toddlers, children,
teens, and adults. I most enjoy working
in schools and helping students communicate what they are learning, so in 2014
I began working at Hernwood Elementary School in Randallstown. After moving to
the Towson area, I am excited to try a new BCPS school: Timonium Elementary.
Chelsea Drasby
My name is Chelsea Drasby and I am thrilled to join the related services team at Timonium Elementary School. I received my master’s in occupational therapy at Stony Brook University in New York in 2014. Since receiving my license, I have worked in hospitals, schools, and outpatient OT settings with children ranging from age 2 through 21. I have been working with the elementary school population since 2016. I began working for BCPS in 2021 after moving to Maryland with my husband and our daughters, Lennox and Oakley.
I am eager to put down roots at Timonium Elementary School. My goal is to be a resource to help students access their education and overcome any barriers that are in their way.
