Ellon Ruschell
I am so happy to be part of the wonderful staff of 
Timonium Elementary School! Before teaching at TES, I was a classroom teacher at Shady Spring Elementary School, where I enjoyed seven years of teaching first, second, and third grade. I joined the TES team in 2017. In the summer of 2018, I finished my Masters in School Library Media at Towson University. I also attended Towson University for my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. In 2021, I earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in Autism Studies at Towson University so I could better support the students here at TES.
I was born in New York but raised in Severna Park,
Maryland. I married my husband, Derrin, in 2015 and we now live in Northern
Harford County. I am a cat lover with way too many cats at home! When I’m
not at school, some of the things I like to do are volunteering at the Maryland
Zoo, scrap booking, going to car shows and, of course, reading! I also love to
try new and exciting things and to travel to new places.
As the Library Media Specialist at Timonium
Elementary School, I will strive to foster a love of reading and help students
