Mara Lamb
I grew up
in sunny Florida and graduated from .jpg "Ms. Lamb")
Buffalo State College in 2006. I recently
obtained my Master’s degree in reading from Edinboro University and I’m working
to become a certified reading specialist. I began my career as a classroom
teacher, focusing on pre-k through 2nd grade. I started working with English
Learners when I taught first grade in Los Angeles and I fell in love with this
dynamic and brilliant group of learners. This experience prompted me to obtain
my ESOL certification and pursue a career as an ESL teacher. I truly love
learning about the cultures and traditions of my students, especially the
delicious foods! I look forward to supporting our ESOL students as they
flourish and grow throughout the year!
