Teresa Kurtz
I knew from a very early age that I 
wanted to be a
nurse. I volunteered as a candy striper at local hospitals helping to make
people feel better. I attended Union Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and
was the second to last class to graduate from their day school diploma program.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the College of Notre Dame. I
have spent most of my career working in Pediatrics in various hospitals. I
switched to an outpatient urgent care center after I started to have my
children. Before coming to Timonium I worked in an outpatient surgery center. I
had always wanted to be a school nurse. I am going to be going back to school
to get my Masters Degree.
I have been the school nurse at Timonium
Elementary since December 2010. I have 3 children, a dog and a cat who keep me
very busy. The Outer Banks is one of my favorite places to vacation. I am an
avid Ravens and Orioles fan!!! I love working with the kids and their families.
Never a dull minute in the health suite!!
