Kiley Murphy
I grew up in Massachusetts until I moved to Baltimore
County in 8th grade and graduated from Bryn Mawr. My passion for
special education began at an early age when I became a volunteer and swim coach
for Special Olympics. I continued my education at the University of
Delaware where I received my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and Masters
in Exceptional Children and Youth, with a concentration in autism and severe disabilities.
In May of 2018, I graduated from Johns Hopkins University receiving a
Masters in School Administration and Supervision. I began my career as a
Special Education Teacher in 2012 in Delaware and I am joining the Timonium
Elementary team from Kennedy Krieger where I spent 3 years, initially as a
Special Education Teacher and most recently, as a Curriculum and Assessment
Specialist. I have worked with many wonderful students and professional
colleagues and am very excited to join the TES team as the Social Emotional
Learning teacher!
